Sam has been a Recovery Worker at Malsis Hall since the very first day we opened, she is now our Care Home Activity Co-ordinator. She has enjoyed watching and helping us grow as a service and is very committed to supporting our Service Users through their recovery.
Sam has over 7 years’ experience working with children and adults with learning disabilities and complex needs within an educational setting and in the community.
She also has 5 years worth of experience supporting adults with mental health conditions and previously worked as a Senior Support Worker, supporting Service Users at a day centre, providing them access to meaningful activities in the local community.
Sam will use this experience to plan creative, fun and motivational activities for all care home Service Users supporting their recovery and will deliver this in a person centred and individual way, focussing on maximising wellbeing and independence.
