Chiedzo qualified as a Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse in 2020. She also holds a BA Hons in Criminal Justice. Chiedzo has worked across various healthcare services, working to improve and support struggling services. She has worked across care homes, brain injury units, supported living, day centres and respite services for people with learning disabilities. She has developed an eclectic set of skills and knowledge, within a range of learning disability and mental health services for both children and adults.

She quickly moved into acting clinical lead roles where she was able to utilise both her problem-solving skills and her ability to promote independence in a management capacity, developing teams and services. Chiedzo strives to empower Service Users and colleagues alike and enjoys supporting and motivating the team. She is committed to delivering visible and compassionate leadership and believes in ensuring everyone’s voice is listened to.

Chiedzo has a passion for working with people and developing high standards of care, actively promoting the positive welfare and engagement of Service Users. Chiedzo is passionate about diagnostic overshadowing, making reasonable adjustments in relation to accessing healthcare services and the STOMP agenda. She has a keen interest in quality improvement and service development.

I am so excited to join Falcon House where everybody is welcome with open hands and embraced for who they are. Looking forward to the future with Echo as I embark on a journey of professional development with my MBA in Healthcare Management.
