Tracy is a Registered Learning Disability Nurse with over 30 years’ experience in supporting both registered care home services (with and without nursing), respite services, supported living services within local communities and day service provision.
Tracy has worked at a senior level within the independent and voluntary Learning Disability sector for over 15 years. This has been in a range of positions both directly working with and managing teams at a local level, the provision of staff training and in a regional managerial role. Throughout her work she has been able to demonstrate measurable and positive outcomes for Service Users.
During this time she has also obtained a BA in Health and Welfare Studies (hons) enhancing her Nursing qualification with a focus on supporting sustainable service design and delivery within today’s health and social care environment with an increased commitment to delivering truly personalised support.
Service User involvement is therefore an area Tracy is particularly focused on with a proven track record in supporting people to increase in confidence and skills to recognise, communicate and achieve their hopes, dreams and aspirations with the full support and inclusion of family members to ensure Service User’s truly feel in control of their life choices.
Tracy brings a wealth of experience with her and thrives upon supporting teams to demonstrate the values and key skills required to enable Service User’s and families to work together in full partnership delivering service’s that truly reflect Deanston Houses ethos, aims and objectives .
